Man arrested for taking inappropriate photo of 12-year-old in Kissimmee Target

A 27-year-old man was arrested in Osceola County after he was accused of taking an inappropriate photo of a young girl at a local Target.

On Friday, May 10, a mother contacted the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office and advised that on the previous evening, a man had taken pictures of her 12-year-old daughter as she bent down to tie her shoelaces inside the Target located at 3200 Rolling Oaks Boulevard in Kissimmee, according to OCSO.

The sheriff’s office stated that the girl was wearing a skirt at the time of the incident.

After launching an investigation, OCSO was able to identify the suspect as Daniel Patricio Mora.

A week after the incident, on Thursday, May 16, Mora returned to the same Target store. Shortly after employees recognized him and contacted the sheriff’s office, deputies arrived on scene and made contact with Mora, according to OCSO.

During an interview, Mora admitted to taking the inappropriate photo of the girl on May 9. The sheriff’s office stated that Mora further admitted to having “more pictures and videos” stored on his cellphone and computer devices at his home.

Mora was arrested and charged with voyeurism of a minor. In a media release, OCSO stated that the investigation is ongoing, and “additional charges will be forthcoming.”
