Local firefighters combated a small fire that ignited inside a residence in Seminole County on Sunday morning.
According to the Seminole County Fire Department, multiple units responded to the Lake Howell area on Sunday, June 2, after receiving reports that smoke was rising from a nearby home.
Shortly after arriving at the incident location, firefighters entered the residence and spotted a small fire inside.
The fire department stated that its crew members quickly extinguished the flames. Due to their swift action, the damage to the home’s interior was described as “minimal.”
There were no injuries reported. According to SCFD, the home was vacant at the time of the fire.
