Phyllis Jean Anderson Thompson King died peacefully May 18, 2024, at Advent Health Hospice in Altamonte Springs, Florida at the age of 90.
Phyllis is survived by her loving children, Pamela Thompson Bowman (Dennis) of Lake Mary, FL and Curtis Calvin Thompson, Jr. of Orlando, FL. She is survived by three grandchildren, Katie George (Jordan), Stacey Perlman (Maxwell) both of Longwood, FL and Tricia Blackburn (Ryan) of Denver, Colorado as well as 6 precious great grandchildren, Joey and Noah George, Charlotte and Parker Perlman, Wade and Ada Blackburn.
Phyllis was born November 24, 1933, in Oak Hill, Ohio to parents Albert and Edna (Davis) Anderson.
She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Charles, Carl, Louise, Denver, Dorothy, Leo and Alma. Phyllis is also preceded in death by her two loving husbands Curtis Calvin Thompson (1972) and William Thaddeus King Jr. (2002).
Phyllis traveled the world with both husbands and finally became a resident of The Forest in Lake Mary, FL until 2021 when she moved to Oakmont Village Lake Mary, FL. She never knew a stranger and had a kind word or smile for anyone she met.
A memorial service is scheduled June 22, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Grace Church, 499 Country Club Road, Lake Mary, 32746.
Reverend Patti Thue will officiate the ceremony. Phyllis will be interred with her husband Thad, at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell FL at a later date.
