Giovanni Frongillo, 70, passed away on May 25, 2024, at AdventHealth Kissimmee. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Giovanni shared 53 loving years of marriage with his wife, Rosa Frongillo.
Born in Montemiletto, in the province of Avellino, Italy, Giovanni was the son of the late Filiberto and Amalia (Costanza) Frongillo.
He was an avid gardener and amazed everyone with what he could grow in his backyard. He enjoyed being involved in his community and finding ways to improve it. He was steadfast in his faith until the end.
Giovanni’s pride and joy was his family. He loved nothing more than having his entire family gathered around the dinner table and often said that as long as he had them, he was the richest man alive. He leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by his beloved wife, Rosa; his sons, Robert (Heather) and Sebastian (Maribel); and his treasured grandchildren, Gabriella, AnaRose, Giovanni A., Giovanni S., Sabrina, and Sophia.
Giovanni’s grandchildren will cherish the memories of summer trips and sleepovers at Nonno’s house. Life will be much quieter without his loud singing and early morning birthday phone calls.
Giovanni’s lively spirit and big heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
