The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has identified the 19-year-old man who was shot and killed in Orlando early Tuesday morning.

The shooting incident, which also wounded a woman, occurred at around 2 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, in the area of Pershing Avenue and Goldenrod Road, according to OCSO.

Deputies responded to the scene and observed two victims, a 19-year-old man and a woman in her 20s, who had sustained gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital, where the man was pronounced deceased.

The male victim was later identified by law enforcement as Angel Issak Martinez.

The unidentified female victim’s injuries were described by the sheriff’s office as being “non-life-threatening.” No further updates were provided regarding her condition.

“The investigation is active and ongoing,” stated OCSO in a media release on Wednesday afternoon.
