Ocoee police looking for suspect who pistol-whipped, robbed two men

The Ocoee Police Department is searching for a man accused of pistol-whipping and robbing two men who were walking home.

According to OPD, the incident occurred on S Circle Key Drive in Ocoee at around 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, as the two victims were walking home from a nearby Mexican restaurant.

The police department stated that a white SUV was traveling eastbound on S Circle Key Drive when it parked near the two victims. The male suspect then exited the driver’s side of the vehicle, approached the victims, and pistol-whipped them, causing unspecified injuries.

The suspect then allegedly took both victims’ cellphones and wallets. After the robbery, the suspect returned to his SUV and drove away from the area.

No further details were released by law enforcement.
