Unclaimed $57K lotto ticket sold in Central Florida expires soon

A winning lottery ticket worth nearly $58,000 that was sold in Central Florida is in danger of expiring as the deadline to claim the prize nears.

According to a statement issued by the Florida Lottery, the top-prize winning Fantasy 5 ticket is worth $57,598.31, and it was purchased for the January 3, 2024 midday drawing at the Placita Supermarket located at 1110 Mason Avenue in Daytona Beach.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 20-35-29-14-18, according to the organization.

The deadline to claim the prize is Monday, July 1, 2024, at midnight (EST).

“While any Florida Lottery retailer can validate the winning ticket, the FANTASY 5 top prize must be claimed at a Florida Lottery District Office,” reads the statement from the organization.
