Maria Vargas, age 83, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at AdventHealth Orlando Hospital.
She was born on November 12, 1940 in New York, NY, daughter to her late parents, Ramon and Apolonia (Acabeo) Vargas.
Maria is survived by her four children – her three daughters, Yvette Vanslyke, Lissette Crespo, and Barbara Ocasio, and her son, Virgilio Espada; ten grandchildren, Amanda Terry, Thalia Garcia, Selena Garcia, Jasmine Shepherd, Josue Espada, Jaylene Cadawan, Sergio Espada, Morgan Linton, Arianna Sanchez, and Joel Torres; six great-grandchildren, Jazlene Pock, Jennalise Terry, Jayla Terry, Casey Linton, Delilah Linton, and Amiyah Rios; two brothers, Giovanni Vargas, and Eugene Vargas; three sisters, Doris Pabon, Diana Porta, and Emma Vargas; and Francisco (Tito) Duarte, her partner for over 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Evelyn Vargas, and Julia Roth; and two brothers, Rafael and Raymond Vargas.
