Donald Everett Gillis

Donald Everett Gillis, 81, of Apopka, FL, passed away on June 16, 2024. Born on May 23, 1943, in Boston, MA, Donald was known for his radiant personality and the ability to bring joy to those around him.

Donald is survived by his loving family, including Nancy Hubbard, with whom he shared his daughter Lauren Ruffino and her husband Marc Ruffino, and his son Scott Gillis with his wife Melissa Gillis. He also leaves behind his cherished girlfriend, Ronit Weiss, and his adored grandchildren-Alexander, Ashley, Alden, Alyssa, Cassidy, Morgan, and Alicia. He was a great grandfather loved by Davien and Brayden.

Throughout his life, Donald was a beacon of happiness and cherished every moment with his family and friends. He will be remembered for the warmth and laughter he brought into the lives of many.

In honoring his wishes, there will be no memorial or funeral services. Donald wanted everyone to celebrate his life and keep their memories of him alive in their hearts.
