Patricia K. Olivieri (Moore)
Born: September 10, 1938, in Mansfield, Ohio Died: July 3, 2024, in Orlando, Florida

Patricia K. Olivieri (Moore), beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully at home in Orlando, Florida, on July 3, 2024. Born on September 10, 1938, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Chester Leewood Moore and Caroline Mary Elsie Moore (Denton), Patricia was the youngest of five siblings: Paul, BB, Betty, and Virginia, all of whom predeceased her.

On March 14, 1956, Patricia married her childhood sweetheart, Carl M. Olivieri. Their love story spanned over six decades until Carl’s passing on January 16, 2017. Together, they navigated the life of a Navy family, living in various locations due to Carl’s Navy career. Their journey
included raising five children: Anthony (Carolyn), Jay, Timothy (Sandy), Michael (Jayne), and Nicholas (Eddie).

Patricia was a devoted wife and mother, managing the complexities of a Navy family with grace and strength. Despite the challenges, she was an active member of the community, notably joining Another Mother for Peace in California in 1967. Her dedication to peace and her fear of the Vietnam War’s impact on her family led her to always wear a bracelet with the name of a Vietnam War POW/MIA soldier.

In 1968, Patricia and Carl achieved the rare honor of being named Navy Wife of the Year and Navy Man of the Year, respectively. Their bond and commitment to service were truly remarkable.

After Carl’s retirement from the Navy, Patricia poured her heart into renovating a 19th-century Victorian home in Sidney, Ohio, creating a beautiful oasis with gardens, a pond, and verandas. Her green thumb and eye for design were evident in every comer of their home.

The couple later moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where they enjoyed the beach life and each other’s company. Eventually, they settled in Baldwin Park, Orlando, Florida, where they spent their remaining years together.

Patricia is survived by her children, Anthony, Jay, Timothy, and Nicholas; her 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love, strength, and dedication to family will forever be cherished.
