In loving memory of Mary Jane Mitchell who passed away on July 14 th , 2024. She was a remarkable woman, known for her wit, charm, and zest for life. Her slightly saucy humor brought joy to everyone around her.
Born on December 21, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Marian Ijams Turner and Arthur Dean Turner, she wore many hats throughout her life: devout Catholic, devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, administrative assistant, and volunteer extraordinaire. Her sweet smile and warm heart left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Whether you knew her as Mom, Ma, Mar, Jane, FMIL, Grammy, InstaGram, Miss Jane, Mrs. Mitchell, M. Jane, Mama Juana, Aunt Jane or any other endearing name she was bestowed, know that you made a wonderful impression on her and she hopefully made one on you too.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unforgettable memories. Her family—children, Kathryn Mitchell Hite (Alan) and Robert Bernard Mitchell III (Charson), grandchildren, Kaitlyn Marie Hite-Lowry (McClellan) and Allyson Lane Carr-Hite (Malori) and many nieces and nephews will forever cherish her spirit. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude in her honor.
May her soul rest in peace, and may her saucy spirit continue to inspire us all.
