Faith Elizabeth Dodge (née Dickinson), aged 91, of Oviedo, Florida, passed away on July 15, 2024. Born on February 5, 1933, in Myrtle, Pennsylvania.
Faith Elizabeth Dodge, age 91, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024.
She was an ordained minister and spent her life working alongside her husband, Forrest Burton Dodge. They were married for 70 years and spent them in the ministry as pastors, missionaries, counselors, & prayer warriors. As missionaries, Forrest & Faith where heavily involved in the early years of ministry with the Pan American Mission of Colombia. Their ministry was focused on developing future Colombian leaders and pastors through intercession, teaching, training and prayer. Her gift of discernment allowed her to be able to pinpoint areas of need for many and had a strong prayer life. She was an encourager to many.
Both Faith & Forrest attended Elim Bible Institute where they met and married after graduating. Her husband passed away in 2021.
Faith was born in Myrtle, PA the oldest child ofClarence Oroke Dickinson & Annie Gertrude (Shepardson). She had four siblings of which one, Hope Elaine Ann Fergusson is still living. All her other siblings are deceased. Philip Arin in 1936. Stephen Allon in 1967, and David Dickinson in 1987. She passed away in Oviedo FL at the home of Dawn, her daughter. She was under the care of Hospice. Faith & Forrest had four children, Gloria Ann Mulvaney of Hoover AL, Dawn Elaine Machuca of Oviedo FL, Victor Allen Dodge of Belle Isle FL, and Starr Beth Hodges of Spencerport NY. Faith had 11 grandchildren, 10 who are living and one grandson who passed away. She also had 20great grandchildren.
She has joined her husband and many friends and loved ones. They are eternally in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.
