William Marsh, 79, passed away under Home Hospice Care on July 31, 2024 in Casselberry, FL.

Bill was the devoted and beloved husband of Rosemary Brown Marsh for over 59 years. The eldest of three sons, he was born in Westfield, MA on December 15, 1944 to the late William C. and Lillian Coderre Marsh. Bill grew up in Manchester, CT where he met his future wife.

A graduate of Cheney Tech (1963), he and Rosemary wed in 1965. They went on to reside in New Haven, Branford and East Haven, CT before moving to Florida in 2012. During his life in Connecticut, a hard working carpenter by trade, Bill held multiple jobs and also owned his own business where all of his children worked with him at one time or another.

Known for his “Dad Jokes” sense of humor, he enjoyed socializing, day trips with his wife and daughter, playing golf with his sons and playing cards with friends. After surviving a massive stroke in 2006 he learned to speak and walk again, a testament to his fighting spirit-or some may call stubbornness. Bill remained an avid fan of golf, reading, sudoku, cards and of course, eating. His favorites being oreos, strawberry milkshakes and peanut butter.

Bill is survived by his three sons Gregg and partner Margaret Rouche, Kevin and Scott and his daughter Amy Marsh and wife Tracy Turner. He leaves three grandchildren, Samantha, Zachary and Sydney. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Beverly Palmer (Roy) and Donna Maheux (Leo) along with several nieces and nephews.
