An 18-year-old man and four teenagers were arrested earlier this week after they allegedly attempted to break into multiple vehicles in downtown Orlando.
On Monday, August 5, Orlando Police Department officers responded to the intersection of Pine Street and Eola Drive after receiving reports that five suspects were attempting to break into vehicles in the area.
When officers arrived, they located the suspects near the intersection of Summerlin Avenue and Central Boulevard.
According to OPD, all five suspects attempted to flee from the officers, though most of them were quickly taken into custody.

One of the teenage suspects managed to elude officers for approximately 30 minutes. With assistance from an officer’s K-9 partner, the teen was found hiding on the roof of a nearby residence.
The ages of the teen suspects are 13, 15, 16, and 17, according to OPD. They are each being charged with burglary of a conveyance and multiple counts of attempted burglary of a conveyance, which are felonies.
The adult suspect, identified as 18-year-old Denzel Fogle, was placed under arrest and transported to Orange County Jail.

Fogle is facing the following charges: burglary of a conveyance, attempted burglary of a conveyance (seven counts), resisting an officer without violence, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
