With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Maria Elida Cuartas, who left us peacefully on August 20, 2024, at the age of 87. Born on September 22, 1936, Maria lived a life rich in love, strength, and cherished moments with her family and friends.
Maria Elida is survived by her five beloved children: Luz Dennis of Miami, Fl. Dora Ines of Bogota, Colombia, Olga Lucia and husband Jan of Orlando, FL, Gonzalo and wife Anna of Miami, FL and John Wilder and wife Marilu of Medellin, Colombia. Maria Elida is also predeceased by her son Jose Fernando and his wife Berta. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries forward her legacy of warmth and compassion.
Maria Elida will be deeply missed, but her spirit and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
