William G. Roche

William G. Roche, passed away in Orlando, FL on August 28, 2024 at the age of 80. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Anne Millians-Roche; his children, William A. and Lisa Roche, Robert and Lisa Roche, Sean and Ryann Roche, Kathleen and Ryan Booth, Jeffrey and Megan Millians, and Heath and Sonya Millians; his fourteen grandchildren; and countless loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marie (Morrison) and William A. Roche.

Bill was born on March 10, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from Saint Francis Prep in 1961 and Saint Bonaventure University in 1965. Bill served in the United States Army and Military Police from 1966-1968 and earned the National Defense Service Medal.

He dedicated over 30 years to his career in the maritime industry as a Vice President at ActPace/Blue Star Line. Bill was president of the International Commerce Club of NJ and the Foreign Commerce Club of NY/NJ. He was also a member of the Westwood Regional Board of Education for nine years and served as president from 1992-1993. He was an active member at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church in Westwood, NJ and Saint Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church in Winter Park, FL.

With all of his accomplishments, Bill’s most treasured ones were related to his children and grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and lived a fulfilling life surrounded by his loved ones.
