Fandom Kissimmee returns this weekend to bring comics and games to life

Characters from famous comic books, television series, movies, and video games will come to life this weekend at Fandom Kissimmee.

The annual family-friendly event will take place on Saturday, September 7, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kissimmee Civic Center located at 201 E Dakin Avenue.

Fandom Kissimmee is free to attend and will feature a variety of interactive experiences for fans of comics, film, and TV, including unicorn rides, a cosplay contest, and sword training classes.

Attendees will also get to watch a sword fighting show, take part in a pop culture trivia contest with prizes, listen to panel discussions, and step inside a D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) style tavern for board games and drinks.

In addition, the convention will include a variety of vendor booths and food trucks.
