A 23-year-old Orlando man was killed on Tuesday morning after his car struck several utility poles and overturned in Orange County.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the fatal crash occurred shortly after 6:20 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, near the intersection of Dr. Phillips Boulevard and Craindale Drive.
FHP stated that a 2016 BMW 650i was traveling northbound on Dr. Phillips Boulevard, approaching the intersection of Craindale Drive, in the inside lane.
A trooper noted in the report that the driver and sole occupant of the car “failed to negotiate a left-hand curve.” As a result, the vehicle veered off the roadway to the right before colliding with a utility pole.
