Sum 41 bringing final tour to Orlando next week

The popular Canadian rock band Sum 41 will make a stop in Orlando next week as part of their final tour.

On Tuesday, September 24, Sum 41 will bring its Tour of the Setting Sum to the Orlando Ampitheater at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, which is located at 4603 W Colonial Drive in Orlando. The concert starts at 6 p.m., and it will feature a special performance by The Interrupters.

A rock band with pop-punk and metal influences, Sum 41 first burst onto the scene over twenty years ago with their hit single “Fat Lip,” which reached number one on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and remains the band’s most successful single to date.

The next two singles off their 2001 debut album All Killer, No Filler, “In Too Deep” and “Motivation,” also achieved commercial success. The album was certified platinum in both the United States and the United Kingdom, and triple platinum in Canada.

The group was nominated for seven Juno Awards and won twice: Group of the Year in 2003 and Rock Album of the Year for Chuck in 2005.

In addition, Sum 41 was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance category for their song “Blood in My Eyes.”

Tickets for the upcoming show are still available, starting at $38.50.
