A narcotics investigation led by the Orlando Police Department recently resulted in the seizure of over a dozen firearms and multiple drugs, including hundreds of grams of cocaine, from two local homes.
According to OPD, detectives from its Drug Enforcement Division, along with SWAT team members, executed two residential search warrants on Thursday, September 19, in connection with an ongoing investigation. The addresses of both homes were not specified by police.
As a result of the warrants, OPD stated that detectives seized the following items from the homes:
- 811 grams of cocaine.
- 52 pounds of marijuana.
- 54 grams of methamphetamine.
- 1,051 grams of THC.
- 120 grams of steroids.
- 4 pounds of Psilocybin mushrooms.
- 15 firearms.
- $5,500 in cash.
“Phenomenal work by all of the officers involved with this investigation!” stated the Orlando Police Department. “Thank you for keeping these dangerous drugs and guns off of our streets. Efforts like this keep our community safe and aid in our mission to reduce violent crime.”
