Philip Charles Paradis, a skilled glass technician and devoted history enthusiast, passed away on September 4, 2024.
Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, on November 12, 1965, Philip had a successful career in the glass industry for over 40 years, where he was known for his expertise in auto glass and residential glass installation. He was a certified auto glass technician who loved his work and took great pride in his craft. Philip had a deep passion for history, especially World War II, and was known as a huge history buff. He was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening.
He loved animals and had a sweet tooth that friends and family fondly remember. Those who knew Philip describe him as funny, smart, clever, opinionated, friendly, hardworking, patriotic, and strong.
Philip is survived by his children, Jessica L. Jones, Philip W. Paradis, and Samantha D.P. Paul (Weston Paul); his former wife and friend, Linda L. Jones; and one grandchild, Ryker W. Odette. He is also survived by his siblings, Peter Paradis, Sandra Aiton, Thomas Paradis, and Rebecca Paradis. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Paradis, and his mother, Bella Paradis.
Philip will be remembered for his dedication to his work, his love of history and animals, and his unwavering strength and patriotism. His friends and family will miss his clever humor, friendly nature, and his passion for life. A private service will be held to honor Philip’s memory.
