Alberto C. Figueroa

Alberto C Figueroa, AKA “Big Al”, passed away far too early on the morning of September 17, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife, his sons, and his family and friends. He was welcomed into Heaven’s gates by his mother Carmen Figueroa and his cousin Landi with open arms. Al is now in a place where he is pain free and can watch over his loved ones always.

Al was born on May 29, 1969, in Brooklyn, New York. He moved to Orlando over 25 years ago and became very known in the Orlando Nightlife scene, and security industry, as the one guy that watched over everyone. He eventually started his own security business and ended up having a very successful career for many years that he loved and enjoyed. He was able to meet many athletes and celebrities, as well as musical artists and production crew members. Al left a mark on any and everyone that he ever met.

Al met his wife, the love of his life Amanda, 15 years ago and from the day they met they never left each other’s side. They had two beautiful boys, Myles (13) and Kyle (11), and Al loved them more than life itself. To his wife and his sons, he was their hero, their protector, and their world. Al enjoyed cooking; especially holiday meals; watching sports, family movie nights, and just spending time with loved ones. He loved to make jokes to everyone, and you definitely could not be around him if you had thin skin.

RIP to a Legend….”Big Al”

Al was a diehard sports fan, and he loved the New York Yankees, the New York Jets, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Brooklyn Nets. Please feel free to wear any of those teams or colors to support and celebrate Al.

There will be a celebration at the hall immediately following the services, sponsored by several local restaurants and venues in Orlando, so please feel free to stay and celebrate Al.

From all the family we would like to thank everyone for all their love and support, and I know Al is so appreciative of each and every one of you for making sure to make this process just a little easier on his wife and his sons.
