Singer-songwriters Charli XCX and Troye Sivan are bringing their Sweat tour to the Kia Center this weekend, and they will be joined by special guest Shygirl.
The concert will take place on Sunday, October 6, at the Kia Center, which is located at 400 W Church Street. The show starts at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m.
Charli XCX is a singer-songwriter and record producer who focuses on pop and alternative music. Known for her eclectic style and boundary-pushing pop anthems, she first gained attention with the 2012 hit “I Love It” with Icona Pop, which she wrote and was featured on.
Charli XCX’s career took off with the success of singles like “Boom Clap” and her feature on Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy.” Her songs showcase her knack for combining catchy pop hooks with experimental production and edgy lyrics.
Troye Sivan is a singer-songwriter and actor. He released his third EP, TRXYE, which peaked at #5 on the U.S. Billboard 200. The EP’s lead single, “Happy Little Pill,” reached the Top 10 on Australian music charts.
He later released his debut studio album, Blue Neighbourhood. The album’s lead single, “Youth,” became Sivan’s first single to enter the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at number 23.
As an actor, Sivan portrayed the younger Wolverine in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He was the youngest recipient of the GLAAD Stephen F. Kolzak Award, and he received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song for “Revelation” from the film Boy Erased, in which he also had a supporting acting role.
In addition, Sivan has starred in the film Three Months and the series The Idol.
