Universal Orlando has announced the opening date for its fourth theme park, Universal Epic Universe.

On May 22, 2025, Epic Universe will officially open to guests, with five new words to explore: Celestial Park, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, Super Nintendo World, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Ministry of Magic.

Universal Orlando states that Epic Universe “will bring to life extraordinary adventures that go beyond guests’ wildest imaginations.” Each section of the park will feature multiple rides, attractions, shops, and dining options.

The theme park will open with a large “chronos,” leading visitors through a “portal” into the Epic Universe’s first section, Celestial Park.

Among the attractions is Starfall Racers, a dual-launch roller coaster that will allow riders to “race through the sky upon a shooting star,” according to the company.

The next section of the park, How To Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, will feature “the world’s first dragon-viking utopia,” as popularized in the film series. Officials have billed this section as the “ultimate wish fulfillment” of flying dragons.
