Joseph Lee Jackson, 72, of Longwood, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024, after a courageous battle with a long-term illness. Joe was a dedicated and beloved member of the Disney family, where he worked for 52 years, touching countless lives with his kindness, hard work, and infectious love for all things magical.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Willow, mother-in-law Margaret, sister-in-law Peggy (Fred), sister-in-law Robin (Paul), sister Lois (Quinn), sister Demetria (Charles), brother-in-law Earl, and many cherished nieces, nephews, and goddaughters, Michelle and Jaydeen. Joe also leaves behind numerous lifelong friends and his Disney family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Iola, brother Monroe, and sister Jackie.
Joe’s warmth, humor, and passion for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, dedication, and joy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to call him family and friend.
