Sanford police are asking the public for help to locate a missing and endangered 61-year-old man who was last seen leaving a local assisted living facility on Thursday morning.
According to the Sanford Police Department, Kevin Boyer left the Sanford Manor assisted living facility, which is located at 1704 W 9th Street in Sanford, shortly after 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 14. He “jumped” a back gate, left the property, and has not returned.
Boyer stands 6’3” tall and weighs around 155 pounds. When he was last seen, he was wearing gray pants, a gray shirt, and no shoes.
SPD states that Boyer does not have any family in the area. The police department believes that he could be headed towards the Pine Hills area.
Boyer does not have any form of transportation, and he does not have a cellphone.
“Due to (Boyer’s) mental health diagnosis, he is considered endangered,” stated SPD in a social media post on Thursday afternoon.
