George Robert Webster 81, of Zellwood, FL passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024. He was born on March 10, 1943 in Lansing, MI to Harley and Helen Webster.
Bob was proud to have served in the US Marines from 1961-1965 and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan.

He was baptized and accepted Christ in 1979 at Winter Park Christian Church. He served as a deacon over the years. Bob was a current member of Rolling Hills Community Church.
A true-hearted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was married for 57 years to his wife, Lynda. He loved his family dearly; his 3 daughters and 10 grandchildren were his pride and joy.

He was an easy man to be around and made friends wherever he went. He would do anything he could to help someone. Throughout his years of being a mechanic, Bob couldn’t turn anyone away and offered his time and expertise to many friends of friends.
Bob was also known for his wit and dry sense of humor and often used it on the golf course. Golf was his favorite sport to play and followed in his father’s favorite past time. He was a quiet and self-trained artist, loving to paint nature scenes. He loved watching Bob Ross’s TV shows which led to this passion. He spent a lot of time cruising with his wife and friends and vacationing every year in the Keys.

He is survived by his wife Lynda Webster; his daughters Michele (Ben) Ritter, Wendy (Brian) Benz and Ashley (Matt) Cox; 10 grandchildren Jordan (Tyler) Young, Justin, Timothy, Andrew, Reagan, Michael, Karsyn, Jacob, Nathaniel and William; brother John (Jan) Webster.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Helen Webster; brother Eugene Webster.
