Angelita Nunez was born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, the second daughter born to Agapito Rivera and Leocadia Carrion.
On November 18, 1950, she married her beloved Jose, sharing 74 wonderful years of marriage. They came to reside in the United States in
1956, initially to Paterson, New Jersey and moved to Orlando, Florida in 1992. Angelita cherished their life together and carried his memory with her.
Angelita was the proud mother of three daughters, Maria, Carmen and Isa, who brought immense joy to her life. Her family grew to include 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and another to be born this coming April. Known for her warm hospitality and welcoming smile, Angelita created a home filled with love and laughter.
Angelita was predeceased by her dearly beloved husband, Jose, in May of this year. Also predeceased is her older sister, Eleuteria Tamburino, and a niece, Joanne M. Rivera.
Her memory lives on in the hearts of her daughters, extended family, and those she touched with her love and faith.
Wake: Friday, November 22, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Baldwin Brothers, 1654 N Semoran Blvd, Orlando, FL 32807.
Funeral Mass: Saturday, November 23, 12 p.m. at Blessed Trinity,4545 Anderson Rd., Orlando, FL 32812, followed by burial at Glen Haven Cemetery, Winter Park.
