Louis J. Conn passed away on November 13, 2024, in Longwood, Florida at the age of 61.
Louis is survived by his wife Patricia, his daughters Gabriela Conn and Andrea Weeks and her husband, Brandon Weeks. He was also the proud grandfather of Andrea and Brandon’s three children: twins Theodore and Benjamin and Elizabeth. He is also survived by his parents Louis Conn and Barbara Conn, who loved their oldest son and were incredibly proud of the man he was. He also leaves behind his brother Joseph, who was his best friend, and his sister Tara Taffera and her husband Cory Taffera as well as three nieces, Isabella, Sophia and Gianna Taffera.
Louis was born in Binghamton, NY and then moved to Syracuse, NY where he graduated from West Hill High School. He graduated from the University of South Florida then spent a career in sales for the food and beverage industry spending most of his adult life in Florida.
He married Patricia in February 2001 and enjoyed 23 years of marriage together. They loved taking long walks in their neighborhood together with Henry tagging along.
Besides spending time with his family, he spent any spare moment he could with a fly-fishing pole in his hand, a hobby that brought him tremendous joy. He even tied his own flies since he was a young boy. He also loved watching college football, cheering on the Miami Hurricanes.
Lou loved to tease his family mercilessly, and when he got going on a story, he could send you into fits of laughter.
A service and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 North Orlando Avenue, Maitland, Fl.
