A suspicious death is being investigated by Kissimmee police after a body was found in a local canal on Thanksgiving morning.
According to the Kissimmee Police Department, an individual called 911 at around 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, November 28, and reported that a deceased body had been found along the Emory Street canal.
Officers soon arrived on scene and found a deceased male victim.
KPD stated that the victim’s identification is being withheld until his next of kin can be notified.
No further details were released by police due to the criminal investigation, which is ongoing.
