Rod Wave is making his return to the Kia Center in downtown Orlando next week, and he will be joined by several special guests.
The rapper will perform on Tuesday, December 17, at the Kia Center, which is located at 400 E Church Street. The event starts at 7 p.m. and will include additional performances by Moneybagg Yo, Lil Poppa, Dess Dior, Toosii, and Eelmatic.
Rodarius Marcell Green, a.k.a, Rod Wave, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter that is best known for his strong voice and for his hand in creating the soul-trap subgenre.
Rod Wave rose to fame with his 2019 single Heart on Ice, which went viral on YouTube and TikTok and peaked at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
His debut album, Ghetto Gospel, peaked at number 10 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. His second album, Pray 4 Love, peaked at number 2 on the same chart and included the song Rags2Riches, which peaked at number 12 on the Hot 100.
Rod Wave’s subsequent studio albums – SoulFly, Beautiful Mind, and Nostalgia – each debuted atop the Billboard 200 and earned him further critical acclaim for his soulful delivery and lyricism.
