The Orlando Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 20-year-old man dead early Saturday morning.
According to OPD, officers responded to the 1900 block of E Colonial Drive shortly after midnight on Saturday, December 14, in reference to a man being shot.
Upon arrival, officers found the male victim – identified by police as 20-year-old Justin M. De Los Santos – who had sustained apparent gunshot wounds.
De Los Santos was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Officers spoke with several witnesses who advised that an altercation had occurred between De Los Santos and an unknown suspect. The suspect then shot De Los Santos before fleeing from the area, according to police.
