The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting in Orlando that left one man dead on Saturday evening.
According to OCSO, deputies responded to the 500 block of Hungerford Boulevard in Orlando at around 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, after receiving reports of a shooting incident.
When deputies arrived, they found a male victim in his 40s who had sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The identity of the victim was not released by the sheriff’s office.
“This is still an active and ongoing investigation,” said OCSO in a media release on Sunday morning.
No further details were released regarding the fatal shooting or any possible suspect(s).
