Donald Sego of Maitland FL, passed away on December 17, 2024 at the age of 82, in Altamonte Springs, FL.
Donald was born in Hart County, KY, where he was the youngest of seven children. He later moved to Louisville, KY where he graduated from Ahrens Trade High School. In 1964, he married Loretta Joyce Sanders. They bought a house in the Louisville area were Donald made major additions to it by himself.
He and his wife raised three children in Louisville. He was a long-time, hard-working employee of Philip Morris in Louisville. Donnie and Joyce moved to Orlando area in 2015, where he lived the rest of his life. Donnie enjoyed spending time with family, building things, fixing things, telling stories, cooking, and eating!
Donnie is survived by his daughter Trina Sego and son-in-law Shikhar Sarin, son Chris Sego and daughter- in-law Rebecca Kroll Sego, and five loving grand-children, Justus, Saumya, Sabria, Amiya and Amalia. He is preceded in death by his wife Joyce Sanders Sego, son Timothy Sego, and son Don R. “JR” Sego Jr.
Memorial contributions can be made in the form of an Honor Donation in Donnie’s name to the American Diabetes Association.
