The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation after a man who suffered “obvious trauma” was found deceased inside an Orlando apartment.

On Wednesday, January 22, at around 5:45 a.m., OCSO deputies responded to Courtney Chase Apartments, which is located on Courtney Chase Circle in Orlando, in reference to a man in his 20s who was found unresponsive in one of the units, according to the sheriff’s office.

When deputies arrived, they observed that the male victim had “obvious trauma to his body.” Orange County Fire Rescue personnel were already on scene, and they had pronounced the male victim deceased.

No further details were provided by law enforcement regarding the victim’s identity or the extent of his injuries.

“All parties involved have been accounted for and there is no threat to the community,” said OCSO in a media release on Wednesday afternoon.

The sheriff’s office added that an investigation into the victim’s death remains “active and ongoing.”
