Orlando police are still searching for the hit-and-run driver who struck a bicyclist at a local intersection over a month ago.

At around 10:40 p.m. on Friday, January 3, the bicyclist was struck by a black mid-size SUV at the intersection of S Kirkman Road and Raleigh Street. Moments after the collision, the SUV fled from the scene, according to the Orlando Police Department.

The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital for treatment of “significant injuries.”

On Wednesday, February 5, OPD released video footage of the crash. The police department believes that the suspect vehicle is possibly a Honda CR-V, or a similar SUV, with visible damage on the front driver’s side bumper.

The suspect vehicle also has a “distinctive silver roof rail.”
