The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a man’s death after he was found with “obvious signs of trauma” at an apartment complex in Pine Hills on Thursday night.
According to OCSO, deputies responded to Rolling Hills Apartments located in the 5600 block of Silver Chase Way at around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, after receiving reports of an aggravated battery incident.
When deputies arrived, they found a man in his 30s who was suffering from traumatic injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
“This is an active and ongoing investigation,” said OCSO in a media release on Friday, February 14.
No further details were provided by law enforcement regarding the man’s identity or the circumstances surrounding his death.
