An Orlando man has claimed a $1 million top prize from a Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket that he purchased at a local 7-Eleven.
Lottery officials announced on Tuesday, February 25, that 60-year-old Dwayne Croft has claimed the $1 million prize from THE CASH WHEEL scratch-off game.
When Croft visited the Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee, he chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $605,016.40.
The winning ticket was purchased from the 7-Eleven located at 14068 Narcoossee Road in Orlando. The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.
THE CASH WHEEL is a $5 scratch-off game from the Florida Lottery that offers over $62 million in total prizes, including 4.3 million winning tickets. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.05, according to lottery officials.
