Over two decades have passed since then-22-year-old Kelly Ann Balderas was murdered at a Kissimmee motel, and police are seeking any information from the public that could help bring her killer to justice.

This month marks the 21st anniversary of Balderas’ tragic death. On March 6, 2004, Kissimmee Police Department officers responded to the Breeze Inn motel located at 900 East Vine Street in reference to an unresponsive woman who was found in room 116, according to KPD.

When officers arrived at the motel room, they discovered Balderas’ body. KPD stated that an initial investigation revealed “signs of foul play,” and her death was later classified as a homicide.

“Despite extensive investigative efforts over the years, Kelly’s murder remains unsolved,” said KPD in a media release on Monday, March 10, 2025.

Detectives are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time of Balderas’ death to contact the Kissimmee Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division at 407-846-3333.
