DeLand police are searching for a man accused of stealing a golf cart from a local business.
On Monday, March 17, at around 2:40 p.m., a yellow EZ-GO golf cart was stolen from Cruisin’ Concepts located at 139 North Spring Garden Avenue in DeLand, according to the DeLand Police Department.
DPD states that the golf cart was taken by a male suspect who is believed to be a transient in his 40s or 50s. At the time of the theft, the suspect was wearing a green long sleeve shirt and brown pants.
The golf cart was last seen heading westbound on State Road 44, according to police.
