Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in Pine Hills that claimed the life of a man early Sunday morning.
At around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, May 11, Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of Silver Star Road in reference to shots being fired. When they arrived, they found a male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
“The investigation is still in the early stage,” said OCSO in a media release on Sunday morning.
No further details were provided by the sheriff’s office regarding the shooting incident, the victim’s identity, or any possible suspect(s).
