Eddie, a lifelong pilot and proud United States Air Force veteran, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the age of 77.
He served his country honorably as a pilot and in return, the Air Force gave him wings and passion that stayed with him throughout his life. Even though his travels took him across the globe, he never forgot his roots in Co-Op, Kentucky and loved to visit home often.
He is survived by his wife, daughter, three cherished grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, who brought him endless joy. He is also survived by one sister and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother and one sister.
Eddie will be remembered for always being quick with a joke, his enjoyment of faraway places, and his love of quiet walks on the golf course.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that you consider making a donation in his memory to one of the following organizations: Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Winter Park Fire Department Benevolent Association.
Funeral services for Eddie Winchester will be held on Tuesday, 5/20/25, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Greater Orlando.
