Donald Edward Mallard, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 16, 2025.
Donny, as his friends and family called him, was the first born of four brothers, born on August 7, 1965. Donny was born in Orlando, Fl. to Edward “Al” and Donna Mallard.
He graduated from Boone High School in 1983, where he played Varsity Football and Baseball. Donny worked as a Lead Engineer with Jll Property Management and spent most of his career in facilities management.
Donny was a wonderful son, great big brother, dedicated step-father, devoted uncle, and loyal to a fault, true blue friend. He dedicated his time, energy, and love to his family, every chance he got! Donny was happiest when surrounded by friends and family, enjoying get togethers, motorcycle rides, and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys play.
He is preceded in death by his father, Edward A. Mallard, his brother, Michael W. Mallard, his paternal grandparents, Edward J. and Marion G. Mallard, maternal grandparents, Donald E. and Mary J. Olander and paternal uncle Rodney E. Mallard.
He is survived by his mother, Donna M. Mallard, his brothers, Edward “Chip” (Cindi) Mallard and Todd S. (Lisa) Mallard, stepson Austin (Sarah) Goody, stepdaughter Amanda (Eran) Haber, uncle William P. (Linda) Olander, cousin Christina (Michael) Rodenwoldt and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, located at 4545 Anderson Road, in Orlando, Reception immediately following.
