Frances E. Di Bartolo, age 96, a lifelong resident of Lodi, NJ, and most recently of Orlando, Florida passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Cornerstone Hospice House, Orlando, FL.
She was born on September 28, 1928 in Lodi, NJ, daughter to her late parents, Giuseppe and Maria (Pernice) Peraino. On April 18, 1948, she was wed to her husband, Edward Henry Di Bartolo. They shared 76 years of marriage in April of 2024 before Edward’s passing in July 2024.
Frances was a graduate of Lodi High School, and later obtained her Bachelors Degree in education. She had a successful teaching career, which she was extremely proud of. She taught at Paterson Commercial College, and went on to teach high school at Immaculate Conception in Lodi, NJ. Later she taught at Queen of Peace High School in North Arlington, NJ where she retired from after several years. Her and Edward were members of the Senior Club in Lodi, NJ, and enjoyed their trips to Atlantic City together.
Frances and Edward were the parents of two daughters, the late Francine Wojcik and Eileen LoRe and her late husband, Joseph. Additionally, Frances is survived by five grandchildren, Gina Pozdoll, Nick LoRe, Jennifer Wojcik, Tara Longo, and Matthew Wojcik; nine great-grandchildren, Nicco LoRe, Audriana LoRe, Dante LoRe, Brody R. Pozdoll, Luca Pozdoll, Daytona Longo, Acie Longo, Jake Wojcik, and Mila Wojcik; and her son-in-law, Alfred Wojcik; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Henry Di Bartolo; daughter, Francine Wojcik; a sister, Camille Dallio; and brother, Vito Peraino.
