Carl E. Hartman, 70, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, in Orlando, Florida.
Born March 25, 1955, in Marietta, Ohio, Carl was the son of the late Clifford and Ann Hartman. He graduated from Nelsonville-York High School in 1973 and went on to work for the Kroger Company in Nelsonville, where he dedicated 39 years of service.
Carl had a lifelong love for antiques and was often found exploring flea markets, antique shops, or local yard sales. He also had a passion for classic cars and enjoyed spending time on cruises with his family. A loyal sports fan, Carl rarely missed cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturdays and the Cincinnati Bengals on Sundays.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Brenda Hartman; daughter Nicole (Jesse) Harvey; Sister Liza (Keith) Conner; sister-in-law Cheryl (Paul) Ayers; as well as several nieces and nephews.
