In Loving Memory of Christopher Seastrom. The world lost an extraordinary soul on May 14, 2025, as Christopher & “Chris” Seastrom of Fern Park, Florida, passed away.
A devoted husband and best friend to his wife, Brenda (Doering), Chris cherished their 18 wonderful years together. His love extended to his bonus son, Brandon Holland (Tiffany), and his beloved granddaughter, Raelyn Holland, who brought him immense joy and continued family traditions.
Born on July 26, 1958, in Sacramento, California, Chris was the second youngest child of the late Dellver and Irene Lawless Seastrom.
He is survived by his five siblings: Vicki Seastrom (Dennis Sorgen), Jay Seastrom (Janet), Mary Forgan (Carl), Patti Seastrom (Marty Adolf), and Bob Seastrom (Dee). His family also includes his cherished nieces and nephews: Christopher Fernandez; Stephen Fernandez; Rachelle Fernandez; Jeffrey Seastrom, Will Seastrom-Price; Lila Wasko as well as 13 great nieces and nephews.
Chris made Central Florida his home in 1991, bringing with him his passion for beach volleyball and water skiing-sports that embodied his adventurous spirit. For the past 20 years, he enjoyed working as an account manager for MHA/Navigator Group Purchasing, supporting the healthcare industry with dedication and professionalism. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he served his community wholeheartedly as an usher at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Altamonte Springs, an active member of the church’s Men’s Club, and a Knight of Columbus with Bishop J. Grady Council 5618. For several years during college football season, Chris proudly and fondly volunteered as part of the University of Central Florida “Chain Gang” marking ball placement on the field after each play.
Beyond work and service, Chris found true happiness near the water-whether skiing, boating with family and friends, or traveling to breathtaking beach destinations. He and Brenda treasured their annual visits to Key West, Florida, while family reunions in Lake Tahoe, California, remained a cherished tradition. His backyard was his personal haven, a place where laughter, love, and lasting memories were made.
A natural connector, Chris had the rare gift of making every gathering brighter, everyfriendship deeper, and every day more joyful. He embraced life fully, exuding warmth, kindness, and an infectious enthusiasm that left a lasting impression on all who knew him. As his favorite musical artist Jimmy Buffett so perfectly captured: “Some of it magic, some of it tragic, but I had a good life all the way” Chris truly lived by these words, making the most of each moment and sharing his philosophy of joy and fun with everyone around him.
Chris’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalen
