The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has launched a homicide investigation after a deceased man was found inside a car in Orlando.

According to OCSO, deputies responded to the 1600 block of Peregrine Falcons Way at around 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 8. Upon arrival, they found an unresponsive male victim inside a vehicle.

The victim, later identified as 64-year-old Eduardo Arriaga, had sustained “obvious signs of trauma.” He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

“The death is being investigated as a homicide,” said OCSO in a media release on Monday, June 9. “The investigation is in its early stages.”

No further details were provided by the sheriff’s office regarding the homicide case or any potential suspect(s).
