Janice Isaacson Cook

January 22, 1951 – May 7, 2025

Janice Isaacson Cook passed away peacefully in her home on May 7, 2025, in Oviedo, Florida. She dedicated her life to her family and to all the lives she touched as an educator and media specialist in the public schools in Florida. She was known for her kindness, patience, and selfless acts throughout her life. Janice was skilled in preparing delicious meals and for her ability to organize. Many were thrilled recipients of her quilts and other sewing creations. She felt a deep attachment to Lake Michigan and the Miller, Indiana area.

Janice was a graduate of William A. Wirt High School (class of 1969) in Gary, IN and Indiana University Bloomington (1973). She also received her Master’s degree in Florida. Preceding her in death were her beloved parents, Joseph and Rosalie Isaacson. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Cook, her brother David Isaacson, her sister Charlene (Dr. George) Tsoutsouris, her son David (Katie) Cook, her daughter Ashleigh (Richard) Masi, her step-son JJ (Wendy) Cook, and 7 wonderful grandchildren.
