The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a man’s death after he was found with “obvious signs of trauma” early Sunday morning.
Shortly before 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 15, OCSO deputies were dispatched to the intersection of East Ella J. Gilmore Street and Clarcona Road in South Apopka, according to the sheriff’s office.
When deputies arrived, they found a male victim between the ages of 18 and 20 who had sustained traumatic injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
The victim’s name was not released by law enforcement.
“The investigation is in its early stages,” said OCSO in a media release on Sunday afternoon.
No further details were provided by the sheriff’s office regarding the homicide case or any potential suspect(s).
