Update: On Tuesday afternoon, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office stated on social media that Leidy Mariam Serrano Garcia has been found and is safe.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 12-year-old girl who was last seen at an Orlando apartment complex.
Leidy Mariam Serrano Garcia was last seen on the afternoon of Monday, June 30. According to OCSO, Serrano Garcia was inside an apartment complex located near the intersection of 5 Flags Boulevard and Mount Matre Drive in Orlando.
“There is concern for her safety because of her age,” said OCSO in a social media post on Tuesday, July 1.
Serrano Garcia stands 5’6” tall, weighs approximately 100 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. When she was last seen, she was wearing black shorts, a black sports jacket, and large headphones with her hair in a low bun.
